In accordance with The Education (Pupil Registration) (England) Regulations 2006 Northside School will no longer be authorising term time holidays. In exceptional circumstances, the Headteacher may consider a written request for special leave of absence during term time, where the circumstances warrant it, namely:

1. For service personnel and other employees who are prevented from taking holidays outside term-time if the holiday will have minimal disruption to the pupil's education; and

When a family needs to spend time together to support each other during a crisis.
