Early Years Teacher
Early Years Teacher
Salary: M1-UP3 dependent on experience
Are you ‘Happy to Learn and Inspired to Flourish’? Then Northside Primary School is the school for you. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about Early Years to join an established, fun and hard-working team.
Northside is a happy and oversubscribed one-form entry school that was judged to be outstanding by Ofsted in 2009 and Challenge Partners in 2018. It is situated in the hub of North Finchley and has excellent local transport links via The London Underground or buses.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated teacher who is committed to working with wonderful children and helping them achieve their full potential. Candidates must have an excellent understanding of how to develop multicultural children who come from differing abilities and have little or no English. Through our curriculum we aim for all our children to be respectful, proud, inclusive, open to challenge, creative and resilient. If you think that you have the skills and high expectations to work to be part of the Northside community, then please apply.
At Northside, we have a strong belief in professional development so this may be a stepping stone to a leadership opportunity in the future or from September depending on your experience.
This post will be a permanent position.
Visits are warmly welcomed. Please download an application pack from the London Borough of Barnet vacancies website. To arrange a visit please contact the school on 020 8445 4730. Completed application forms should be returned to the school by post or email.
All posts will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
Closing date: Midday on Friday 17th May 2019
